This dramatic rhodium plated butterfly vintage brooch is another piece from the estate of my late aunt. It is heavy rhodium-plated metal forming the wings with a scatter of red, blue and green rhinestones. The body of the butterfly is clear rhinestones and she looks like she lit on top of a large faux pearl "flower" which dangles. The brooch is solid and well-made with no signs of vintage wear. All of the rhinestones are intact and even the pearl is in perfect condition with no chipping or peeling. The brooch measures 2.5 inches (including the pearl dangle) and is 1.5 inches wide. The clasp is in good working order. This would be a lovely gift or an exceptional addition to your own vintage butterfly brooch collection.
