Wow! Look at this powerful lady. I don't know if she's really a tribal goddess, but that's what it makes me think of, so that's what I called her. I actually spent quite a bit of time doing research on her, but was not successful in unearthing anything. If you recognize this design, I'd love to hear from you.
Meanwhile, this heavy silver tone (it may be pewter) pendant depicts the face of a lady wearing an elaborate headdress. At the bottom, below her chin, there are 3 holes which lead me to believe that at one time, some jewels were hanging there. You could easily add something here to really make it your own -- or have a jeweler do it for you.

The pendant measures 2.75 inches tall by 2 inches wide. It is in excellent condition for it's age; however, she does have a blemish right on the end of her nose. Unfortunate, but personally, I think it just adds to the charm and patina of age of this lovely piece. Just think of the stories she could tell! This is a wonderful piece of vintage jewelry and would really make a statement -- you'll not only love it -- you will be asked about it every time you wear it!
