This sweet little ring would be a perfect gift for a favorite teacher.  I believe it is 14K gold; the mark is somewhat worn and I did not have it tested.  It has an openwork apple design with a tiny green stone prong set at the bottom.  I did test the stone and it does not test as a genuine emerald, although it has the appearance of one.  The ring is small at a Size 5 -- it fits my pinky finger perfectly.  A charming addition to your vintage jewelry collection -- or again, a whimsical gift.
