This gorgeous piece from Avon looks brand new! It is a gold-plated butterfly with a large (20mm by 17mm) faux pearl for the body, accented by two round amethyst colored glass stones and tiny clear rhinestones on the openwork wings. Signed by Avon on the back. The only defect is that there is a slight bend in the pin, but this in no way affects function or appearance. The clasp is in good working order, there is no metal wear and the stones are all bright and intact. The brooch measures 2.25 inches wide by 1.5 inches tall. Truly lovely piece of vintage costume jewelry! Add it to your own butterfly brooch collection -- or pass it on as a gift -- it will be much appreciated, I'm sure.
