This beautiful Victorian mourning brooch has faceted black glass stones and a japanned finish with a standard C-clasp. (Victorian ladies traditionally wore black jewelry for a year following the death of a loved one.)  The brooch is in excellent condition with little to no signs of vintage wear, amazingly enough.  It measures 2 inches long by 1.75 inches wide at it's widest point.  A lovely addition to your vintage costume jewelry collection.
