Perfect for Fall, this is a vintage beaded fruit necklace from an estate.  The fruit resembles a strawberry, but is a dark orange or dark red-brick color.  I believe the tiny beads are glass.  They are twisted onto a plastic tortoiseshell colored plastic chain.  It clasps by slipping the link into the larger circle clasp -- like a keyring.  The necklace measures 15.5 inches; the individual berries dangle 1.5 inches from the chain and they are approximately 1/2 inch wide. This necklace is in very good condition with only very minor evidence of vintage wear.  A wonderful addition to your vintage costume jewelry collection!
