This is a lovely, understated vintage rhinestone choker necklace from an estate. Prong-set rhinestone chatons; 14.5 inches long with two larger rhinestones at the hook clasp. Unfortunately, there are three darkened stones -- one very near the end, one about a fourth of the way from the end and sadly, one near the center. The two near the end probably wouldn't be noticed, but as you can see in the photo, the dark one in the center would be visible. Since these are not unusual rhinestones in any way, this can be easily replaced by someone with access to vintage rhinestones. In fact, if you buy the necklace and are interested in replacing the dark stones I can put you in touch with someone who does this work at a very reasonable price.
The necklace is rhodium plated, is unsigned and other than the discolored stones, is in very good condition.
To compensate for the dark stones, I have priced this vintage necklace much lower than it would be if it were perfect. Invest just a few more dollars in a couple of new stones and you'll have a fantastic piece. Take advantage of this opportunity now.
A terrific addition to your vintage costume jewelry collection!
