Lucky you!  You've discovered a beautiful salt bead demi from Japan.  Triple strand necklace with white salt beads, little black cage beads, black & white silk beads and some faux pearls thrown in for spacers.  Just lovely.  This necklace is in really excellent condition with very little loss of the salt beads, which as you know, tend to fall off with time.  The center strand has these little black beads with tiny white beads glued on; a few of those white beads have fallen off, but not enough to detract from the striking beauty of this necklace.

The necklace measures 16 inches with 3 graduated strands. 

There is a matching pair of clip on earrings with miniatures of the beads in the necklace wired into a cluster on gold tone filigree backs.  They measure 1 inch in diameter.  All pieces marked Japan. 

This is a sensational find -- you'll definitely receive compliments wearing this -- a fine addition to your vintage costume jewelry collection!
