Ingenious combination brooch/pendant vintage necklace signed by the designer, Sarah Coventry. The larger of the two pendants attaches to the smaller pendant with a little s-hook. Or you can detach it and wear it as a brooch. Large centerpiece stone of what appears to be red jasper (but I could be wrong about that.) The brooch is signed SARAH with the copyright symbol, as is the smaller pendant. It has a standard circle clasp, which is in good working order.

The brooch measures 1-5/8 inches square. The smaller pendant is 3/4 of an inch square. The chain may not be the original -- I would have expected to see a Sarah Coventry hang tag, but there isn't one. While the brooch and pendant are in perfect condition with no signs of vintage wear at all, the chain does have some plate wear evidenced by some unevenness of color if you look closely. In spite of that, this is a delightful collectible piece!

This would be a wonderful addition to your vintage costume jewelry wardrobe. It would also make a terrific gift for a collector!
